Shaikh Sulaymaan ar-Ruhayli (may Allah preserve him) said:

“Imam Ahmad said: “And we seek refuge in Allah from the tribulations of the misguided” It is a great (supplication). We seek refuge in Allah from the tribulations and whoever is not insightful will be deceived. This is especially so in this time period in which the innovators use the modern means to promote their innovation. They use deceptive ways to increase the number of viewers for their clips which they make, like on Youtube and the likes, until it becomes widespread among the people. Their speech, in reality, is full of distortions, and fabrications in the Ahaadith and stories in order to promote innovations. We seek refuge in Allah from the tribulations of the misguided” [Sharh Risaalah Ibn al-Qayyim ila Ahd Ikhwaanihi (pg. 140)]
