Shaikh Bin Baz (d. 1420 H.), may Allah have mercy upon him, was asked:

Question:

“We are more than six women and we live in one house. The time for the obligatory prayers passes and we pray alone. Some of our relatives came to use and advised us to pray in congregation and clarified to us that we will receive the virtue of congregation. Is this correct?”

Answer:

“Women do not have to pray in congregation. However, if they pray in congregation, then there is no harm. If each one of them prays individually, then there is also no harm. If they pray in congregation, then we hope that they will receive the reward for the congregation, especially if it is easy for a female student of knowledge to lead them and guide them. Also since their gathering for a congregation involves cooperating in piety and righteousness…”. End. [Reference]
