Imam Bin Baz rahimahullah said:

“Whoever cries in dua and does not cry when hearing the recitation of the Quran, then it is necessary for him to cure himself. He should have greater solemnity and full submissiveness in his recitation of the Quran than the solemnity and full submissiveness in his Du’aa. This is because solemnity and full submissiveness in the recitation of the Quran is more important”
