“O you who have believed, remember Allah with much remembrance” [33:41]

It was narrated by Mujahid, may Allah have mercy on him, who said: A man is not from those who remember Allah with much remembrance, until he remembers Allah (while) standing, sitting and lying down.

Aon bin Abdullah, may Allah have mercy upon him said: Indeed every man has an action that is high ranking (sayed), and my high ranking action is remembrance.

Aon bin Abdullah also said: Sittings of remembrance is a cure for the hearts.

Attah bin Abi Rabbah, may Allah have mercy on him, said: whomsoever sits in the sittings of remembrance, Allah will expiate from him ten sittings of falsehood due to his sitting (of remembrance).

Abu Ubaydah, may Allah have mercy on him said: As long as a man’s heart is remembering Allah then he is in prayer. If he is in the market and he moves his lips he is more magnificent.

Ka’ab رضي الله عنه said: Whomsoever increases in the remembrance of Allah, he liberated himself from hypocrisy.

Muad bin Jabal رضي الله تعالى عنه said: For me to glorify Allah 100 times [saying Allah Akbar (Allah is greater)], is more beloved to me than giving 100 dinars in charity.

May Allah make us from those who remember Allah with much remembrance.
