“The advisor (الناصح):
- doesn’t become hostile towards you if you don’t accept his advice
- says “my reward is upon Allah whether you accept or you don’t”
- supplicates for you in your absence
- doesn’t make apparent your shortcomings
- doesn’t reveal them among the people
