The Shaikh, Muhadith, Mujadid of Yemen Muqbil ibn Haadi al-Waadi’ee rahimahullah said:

“And you, Oh Miskeen, want to stay in the corner of your house and leave the Muslims confused? Do you not know that from the Muslims is the one who is not proficient in reading Fatihaa? Do you not know that from the Muslims is the one who cannot distinguish between the Scholar and the astrologer? Do you not know that from the Muslims is the one who cannot distinguish between a Muslim and a communist? They are in need of callers to Allah so they can awaken themselves. Allah, the Exalted says:

وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ قَوْلاً مِّمَّن دَعَآ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَعَمِلَ صَـلِحاً وَقَالَ إِنَّنِى مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ

And who is better in speech than he who [says: “My Lord is Allah (believes in His Oneness),” and then stands straight (acts upon His Order), and] invites (men) to Allah’s (Islamic Monotheism), and does righteous deeds, and says: “I am one of the Muslims.

[41:33]

Who obligated it upon you that you cannot call except under the banner of so and so? Call to the Book of Allah. Take Saheeh al-Bukhari and Saheeh Muslim and teach the people how to make ablution, how they should worship their Lord, how to pray, how they should call to Allah, how they should confront a communist or nationalist. Do you leave the children of the Muslims to the schools with wicked teachers? No…”
