1. The wiswaas of the nafs could be repelled or maintained at the choice of the person which is contrast to the wiswaas of the Shaytan.

2. The wiswaas of the nafs are thoughts that are in the interest of the nafs [i.e. self inclinations] which is contrary to the wiswaas of the Shaytan since the wiswaas of the Shaytan are whispers that the devil casts to the chest of man.

3. The wiswaas of the nafs are what the person engages in of various of thoughts which stand as an inner self conversation.

4. The wiswaas of the nafs at times could be used as a tool of the devil by engaging the person to remember inner thoughts at the time of Ibadaah in order to get distracted from the remembrance of Allah.
