What is the ruling on saying “Good Morning/afternoon/evening/night” along with the proper salaams?

Answer:

Shaikh Bin Baz rahimahullah said it (saying those phrases) good morning/good evening, how are you doing, etc should be said after the salaam, but not replacing (the salaam). (The reference can be) found here.
