Ash-Shaykh Bin Baaz, rahimahullah, was asked the following question,

Questioner:

“Okay [what is the ruling] in relation to drivers who spend their lives travelling?”

Answer:

“The correct verdict is that there is no problem (in not fasting), even if the person does this for a living, such as a permanent taxi driver or other [similar jobs] such as the one always riding a camel. In early times he was allowed to break his fast, even if he was always travelling. However, if he arrives to his town, he should fast and refrain from food and drink. As for when he is travelling and moving from one town to another, then he may break his fast, even if he does this for a living.” End translation.
