Shaykh Abdul-Hameed Al-Hajooree was asked,

Question:

“He also curses (Ash Shaykh Saalih) Al Fawzaan, and (Ash Shaykh Abdul Muhsin) Al Abbad”

Answer:

“This one is a fool, evil, for cursing the scholars shows being ignorant of their status for they are inheritors of the prophets. The prophets did not leave behind any Deenar nor Dirham (to be inherited) but they left behind knowledge. They are inheritors of the prophet, Allah commanded us to return to them. If they are correct, they get two rewards, and if they make a mistake, they get one reward. As for them being accused of being government agents, and similar to that, then this [statement] only occurs from those who are foolish and young in age, from those whom the prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم warned from.” End.
