إذا بان لك الحق فتسمك به .. ولو خالفك من خالفك
قال الشيخ/ سليمان الرحيلي وفقه الله:
إذا بان لك الحق فتمسّك به ولا تغتر بالفتنة، ولا تغتر بأهلها، ولا تغتر بالكثرة. إذا أضاء لك الدليل من كتاب الله، ومن سنة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، وانكشف بيانه بفهم سلف الأمة – رضوان الله عليهم – فتمسّك به، ولو خالفك من خالفك.

If the truth has been made clear to you, then hold firmly to it… even if you are opposed by whoever opposes you.
Shaykh Sulayman al-Ruhayli (may Allah grant him success) said,
“If the truth has been made clear to you, then hold firmly to it and do not be deceived by the trials. Also, do not be deceived by its people, and do not be deceived by the masses. If it was clarified to you the evidence from the Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet صلّى الله عليه وسلّم, and the understanding of it from the salaf of this nation (may Allah be pleased with them) was manifested, then hold tightly to it, even if you are opposed by whoever opposes you.” End translation.
