Shaykh Bin Baaz rahimahullah and Shaykh Saalih as-Suhaymee hafidaho-Allah once prayed behind an Imam in the city of Taa’if who was praying extremely fast. So after the salat Ash-Shaykh Bin Baaz rahimahullah made the following comment to the Imam:

“Oh Shaykh, may Allaah reward you with good but an old man like myself won’t be able to catch up [humorously saying it]”

And the Shaykh rahimahullah expressed the aforementioned comment in an aamiyah dialect.

Shaykh Saalih Suhayme hafidaho-Allah mentioned this specific incident to show the gentleness and the wisdom of Shaykh Bin Baaz rahimahullah in correcting others concerning their mistakes.
