Imam Abu Waleed al-Baaji rahimahullah wrote as part of his advice to his son:
“And beware of music for music grows finah in the heart and gives birth to evil thoughts in the soul”
[Nasiha al-Waladiyyah pg. 33]
A good advice for our youth nowadays as well.
