Imam Abdurrahman Hassan said:

“You will find majority of those who say La Ilaaha Ilallah (None has the right to be worshipped except Allah) and claims Islaam, commit Shirk (set up partners) with Allah in his worship by calling upon one whom doesn’t harm nor benefit from the dead, absent, false deities, the Jinn and other than them.

They love them (that which they call upon other than Allah) and befriend them, fear them and have hope in them and they reject upon the one whom calls them to the worship of Allah alone, and leaving off worshipping other than him.

He claims that (calling to Tawheed and warning from shirk) is an innovation and misguidance. He opposes the one who acts in accordance to it (i.e. worshipping Allah alone and staying away from Shirk) and loves it, and rejects Shirk and hates it.

Some of them don’t even consider Tawheed to be knowledge, and they don’t turn towards it due to their ignorance and not having love for it!
