A questioner from Maghrib says: Can we study the science of Hadith with a Shaikh, even if he does not have the correct methodology?

Answer:

“No, the one who is upon other than the correct methodology will misguide the people. So how is the sciences of the Legislation studied with him while he is upon other than the correct methodology? He corrects his methodology first”
