Ash-Shaykh Muqbil, rahimahullah, was asked the following question:

Question:

What is the ruling on me giving my vehicle to a car dealer who does his selling through interest (in a scenario wherein) I bring my car to him and say “I want for it five thousands (riyaal) and whatever is extra is for you”?

Answer:

If you were to sell it to other than him, then that is better. However, if you were to sell it to him and not perform any dealings (with him) upon ribaa, then indeed the Prophet sallahu alayhi wa salam himself used to have business transactions with the Jews while he knew they would work with ribaa.
