“عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، قَالَ : ” الإِيمَانُ هَيُوبٌ

On the Authority of Ubaid ibn Umair who said: 

“Imaan is revered [by the people]”

[Reported in Kitab al-Imaan of Ibn Abi Shaybah with a good chain]

Shaikh Al-Albani rahimahullah said :

“That is: Its people are revered…the people revere the People of Iman because they revere Allah and fear Him. [It was also said] it means the People of Imaan fear sins and avoid them”
