اللحية علامة على الرجولة

ﻗﺎﻝ ﺍﻟﺸﻴـﺦ ﺻـﺎﻟﺢ ﺍﻟﻔـﻮﺯﺍﻥ ﺣﻔـﻈﻪ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ.

ﻻ ﻣﺎﻧﻊ ﺃﻥ ﺗﻨﻈﻒ ﻟﺤﻴﺘﻚ ﺃﻭ ﺗﻐﺴﻠﻬﺎ ﺃﻭ ﺃﻥ ﺗﻄﻴﺒﻬﺎ ، ﺃﻣﺎ ﺃﻥ ﺗﻌﺘﺪﻱ ﻋﻠﻴﻬﺎ ، ﻭﺗﺄﺧﺬ ﻣﻨﻬﺎ ، ﻭﺗﺄﺗﻴﻬﺎ ﻣﻦ ﻫﻨﺎ ﻭﻣﻦ ﻫﻨﺎ ﻭﺗﺤﺎﺻﺮﻫﺎ ﻓﻼ ، ﻓﺎﻟﻠﺤﻴﺔ ﺟﻤﺎﻝ ﻟﻚ، ﻭﻋﻼﻣﺔ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﺮﺟﻮﻟﺔ ، ﻓﻠﻤﺎﺫﺍ ﺗﺘﺴﻠﻂ ﻋﻠﻴﻬﺎ ؟ ﻛﺄﻧﻚ ﻟﻴﺲ ﻟﻚ ﻫﻢٌّ ﺇﻻ ﺍﻟﻠﺤﻴﺔ ؟ ﻣﺜﻞ ﺍﻟﻨﺴﺎﺀ ﻣﺎ ﻟﻬﻦَّ ﻫﻢٌّ ﺇﻻ ﺍﻟﺤﻮﺍﺟﺐ.

Shaikh Saalih al-Fawzaan, may Allaah preserve him, said,

“There is nothing preventing you from cleaning, washing or perfuming your beard; as for transgressing with regards to it, taking from it, going to it from here and there, and restricting it, then no, as the beard is a beatification for you as well as a sign of your manliness. So, why then do you behave indecently towards it? As if you don’t have any concern except your beard? This is similar to the women – not having any concern except for doing their eyebrows.”
