Al Allamah Shaykh Salih Al-Fowzan hafidahu’Allah said,

“Some people, if they are not praised or encouraged, then they leave off giving dawah. And this is a sign that the person was not calling to Allah, but rather calling to himself.” End translation. [I’aanatu al-Mustafeed (136)]
