Answer:
The origin regarding buying and selling is that it is halaal unless proven otherwise.
Allah The Most High, says:
وَأَحَلَّ اللّهُ الْبَيْعَ وَحَرَّمَ الرِّبَا
“And Allah has made buying and selling lawful and usury unlawful. “
[2:275]
