Shaikh Yahya bin Ali al-Hajuri (may Allah preserve him) said: “So it is known from this that the one driving to the Jumu’ah or other than it from the prayers must drive in a slow pace, which does not remove him from tranquility and dignity. As for driving fast such that he removes himself from tranquility, then it is disliked just like it is disliked for the one walking on his feet due to what has preceded of evidences. And all praise is due to Allah” [Ahkaam ul-Jumu’ah (pg. 138)]
