The questioner asks how if it’s permissible for a person to migrate to the west and settle there and where [in a situation] he is able to attain all his rights and he is able to practice his religion with no problem.

Shaykh Abdul-Razzaq Al-Badr says that this is all imaginations and fancies and delusions a person is setting himself up for, [wherein he is] believing he can achieve this whereas in reality it is the complete opposite, and that the person will eventually adopt the mentality and beliefs of the kuffar. Also in reality, it is a destruction to himself, his children, and whoever he takes care of, even though he may find advantages living in the west from what they call of حرية (freedom) and all that which is presented to him of the Dunya. However in reality, it’s all prepared as a pitfall for him, and traps are prepared for him to lure him into destruction and to destroy those who will come after him from his offspring for how many people have lived here and were then stripped of their religion and thus were raised upon the beliefs of the kuffar? Therefore upon a Muslim is to choose for himself a place for hijrah from one of the Muslim countries, and whoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty) and He will make his matter easy for him. [as is mentioned in Surah Talaaq, 65:4]
