Question:
If salatul kusoof (eclipse prayer) is missed, can it be made up after the congregation is finished?
Answer:
Ash-Shaykh Muhammad bin Saalih al-Uthaymeen, rahimahullah, said:
As for its prayer, then what is preferable is that it be done in the mosque wherein the congregation is usually established so that the people may come together therein upon one Imam. And if each community were to pray it in their local masjid, then there is no sin in that. And if the person were to pray it in his home, such as the women, then there is no sin in it (likewise). The ruling pertaining to this is unrestricter, however, what is better is that the people come together in a mosque which usually establishes the congregation in it upon one imam.
On a Side Note: One can pray it in his home if the eclipse is still occurring.
