What is the ruling regarding the tasleem and the angels?

الشيخ الألباني رحمه الله : فيه قيل يعني أنه يسلم على من يمينه من المسلمين ومن على كتفيه من الملائكة، أما ذكر الملائكة هنا فلا أصل له أيضاً، كذلك لما بيسلم عن اليسار بيقصد من على يساره من المصلين ومن على [منكبه] الأيسر من الملائكة. السائل : نعم . الشيخ الألباني رحمه الله : لكن ذكر الملائكة سواء عن اليمين أو اليسار لم يرد له ذكر في السنة

Shaikh al-Albani rahimahullah said:

“It was said that he gives salutations to the one on his right from the Muslims and to the one who is on his shoulder from the Angels. As for the mention of Angels here, then there is no foundation for it also. Likewise, when he makes salutations to the left, the intent is for the one who is on his left from the congregants and the one who is on his left shoulder from the Angels.
