The Mufti Shaykh Abdul Azeez Aal Ash-Shaykh hafidaho-Allah mentions it is impermissible to intentionally get into a car accident in order to be reimbursed by one’s insurance company. He hafidaho-Allah mentioned the wealth that the individual attains through this method is unlawful for him.
