“The Prophet ﷺ would pass by young boys and greet them with peace.” [Bukhari and Muslim]

Ibn Badal rahimahu’allah said,

“Greeting children cultivates them on legislated etiquette, removes the cloak of pride from the elders, and makes them humble and kind.” End translation. [Awn al Mab’ood 14/74]
