Shaikh Ibn ul-Uthaymeen rahimahullah said in explaining the Hadith of Aisha radiallahu anhu wherein it is said: “He used to be in the service of his family” (al-Bukhari):

“So for example if a person is in his house then from the Sunnah is to make tea himself and cook if he knows, wash what needs to be washed. All of this is from the Sunnah. If you did that you will receive reward like the reward of Sunnah in emulating the Messenger sallahu alayhi wa salam and out of humility to Allah”
