Ash Shaykhah Umm Abdillah the daughter of Imam Muqbil relays from her father:

Bad Manners from some of the Muslims causes the disbelievers to dislike and turn away from accepting Islam. He sees the lies, deception, stealing, betrayal, females adorning themselves (outside the home), and bad manners.

Thus he says “This is Islam.” while Islam is free from these actions. Thus it is said to him, “Look at Islam and not the situation of the Muslims!”
