The word he is repeating in the audio is أينَ دفترك يا أخي ‘where is your notebook akhi?!’ At times in Yemen, some of the shuyookh there would make us stand throughout the lesson because we didn’t bring our notebook. In fact, during my short visit to Egypt, I found the shuyookh there more strict pertaining to coming to the lessons with a pen and paper, may Allah make things easy.”
