As comes in the narration that Abu Sufyan, may Allaah be pleased with him, said prior to Islam:

فَيَوْمٌ عَلَيْنَا وَيَوْمٌ لَنَا . وَيَوْمٌ نُسَاءُ وَيَوْمٌ نُسَرُّ

“So a day against us and a day for us. A day we are pleasant and a day we are not.”

Arabic Proverb:

الأيام دول

“Days are countries”

Meaning: Days are like the countries, today a country is the greatest, tomorrow it is not. The same is applicable for you people, you may have a good day, but tomorrow who knows.

As Allaah, The Most High, says :

﴿وَتِلْكَ الاٌّيَّامُ نُدَاوِلُهَا بَيْنَ النَّاسِ﴾

(And so are the days, that We give to men by turns)

Comment: Take advantage of today before tomorrow, who knows if you have that same good health tomorrow or that same free time tomorrow.

Remember life is short while filled of surprises, so don’t plan too far!
