السؤال120: بعض الإخوة ينكر على من يصلي بدون عمامة، فما هو الدليل على المنع، وهل لبس العمامة سنة أم لا؟

الجواب: العمامة تعتبر من عادات العرب التي أقرها الإسلام، أما أنها تصل إلى حد السنية فلا تصل إلى حد السنية، فهي تعتبر عادة، لكن إذا نويت الاقتداء برسول الله -صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم- تثاب على الاقتداء برسول الله -صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم-

Question 120: Some brothers detest the one who prays without the turban. So what is the evidence for the prevention? And is wearing an ‘Aimmah (Turban) from the Sunnah or not?
Answer: “The ‘Aimmah (Turban) is considered from the customs of the Arab which Islam approved. As for it reaching the level of the Sunnah, then it does not reach the level of the Sunnah. It is considered from the customs. However, if you intend, by wearing it, to emulate the Messenger sallahu alayhi wa salam, then you are rewarded for emulating the Messenger sallahu alayhi wa salam…”
