Question:

What is the ruling on those who act different in front of people, having different personalities with different people?  Would it be considered deceiving?

Answer:

Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ)s said, “The worst of all mankind is the double-faced one, who comes to some people with one face and to others, with another face.”
[Reported by al-Bukhaari and Muslim]

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: He who is two-faced in this world will have two tongues of fire on the Day of Resurrection.
