Imam Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy upon him) said:

“The jurists differed on the most beloved names to Allah, the Exalted. The majority said that the most beloved to Allah are Abdullah and Abdurrahman.

Sa’eed al-Mussayyib (may Allah have mercy upon him) said: “The most beloved names to Him (i.e. Allah) are the names of the Prophets” [Reported by Ibn Abi Shaybah in his Musannaf (8/67/5961). Shaikh Saleem al-Hilali (may Allah preserve him) said in his checking of the book that it was graded Saheeh by Hafidh Ibn Hajar in Fathul-Bari (10/578). Then he says, “it is as he said”]

And the Saheeh Hadith indicates that the most beloved names to Him are Abdullah and Abdurrahman” [Tuhfatul-Wadood bi Ahkam il-Mawlood (pg. 187) Dar Ibn Qayyim and Dar Ibn Affan Edition]
